Bowling fast and accurate has a lot to do with technique, power, and coordination. Think of a Ferrari. Its well designed frame allows for smoother movement on the track.

Its bigger engine allows for greater acceleration and top-end speed. Its well coordinated transmission system enables near-maximal power transfer from the engine to its wheels.

A better bowling technique will set you up for smoother movement in the run-up and at the bowling crease. A bigger engine will provide you with the power you need to bowl faster. But your ability to coordinate your technique will maximise power from your trunk and legs to your bowling arm so you can bowl faster.
